Vail / Beaver Creek

Vail Colorado

A spectacular experience awaits you in the Vail Valley. Beautiful scenery, bountiful activities and an unrivaled resort experience create the ultimate Rocky Mountain getaway. Summer is particularly enjoyable, as the area’s gloriously sunny afternoons give way to comfortably cool, clear evenings. From strolling along picturesque Gore Creek, which runs through the heart of Vail, to crashing down one of the area’s many whitewater rivers on a raft, the Vail Valley has it all.

The valley's two signature resorts, Vail and neighboring Beaver Creek, pride themselves on providing services and amenities that are unmatched within the Rocky Mountain region. Spend an invigorating day in the sunshine and fresh Colorado air, stroll through the boutique-lined streets of any of the valley’s quaint towns, or let go of life's stresses while enjoying one of the valley’s many world-class golf courses. Families will enjoy the valley’s unique cultural events and concerts, fine shopping and dining. Everything you could possibly need to relax and enjoy the splendor of the Colorado Rocky Mountains is here in abundance.

The world-renowned resort of Vail has an atmosphere that is unique to ski country. Modeled after a European alpine village, the Bavarian architecture, hand-painted floral exteriors and horse-drawn carriages create a charming atmosphere. Vail Village is the heart of the town of Vail, and a central access point for all varieties of on-mountain activities. The enchanting pedestrian village hosts an assortment of lodges, restaurants, galleries, boutiques and nightclubs that provide an opportunity to take a relaxing break from the rigor of outdoor activity.

Beaver Creek, just 15 minutes west of Vail in a secluded side-valley, boasts luxurious accommodations, art galleries, boutique shops, a world-class performing arts theatre, a year-round outdoor ice rink and a championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Both Vail and Beaver Creek ensure that you enjoy an unforgettable experience by consistently offering the highest service levels in the region.

Vail and Beaver Creek are conveniently accessed via the Vail/Eagle County Airport (EGE), which offers non-stop and direct flights from many major cities. EGE is just a 20-minute scenic drive from Beaver Creek and 30 minutes from the heart of the Vail Village. Denver International Airport (DIA) also serves the Vail Valley with daily non-stop flights from most major cities. Guests landing at DIA will make the roughly 2 hour scenic drive up I-70 through the foothills and over the Continental Divide before arriving in the Vail Valley. Along the way, you’ll pass the historic mining and railroad towns of Idaho Springs, Georgetown and Silver Plume before traveling through the engineering marvel that is the Eisenhower Tunnel, boring straight through the mountains of the Continental Divide.
